About our farm
Welcome to Ochiai Blueberry Farm, a family run farm located in Itano Town at the foot of the Asan mountains in rural Tokushima, Shikoku.
The farm is run by the Ishikawa family, and the present owner is Itsue Ishikawa, who is an English speaker.
Producing safe and healthy food is our aim. We grow a variety of crops throughout the year such as rice, wheat, chestnuts, broccoli and of course blueberries. Our farm kitchen makes a range of jams and products which are also available to buy. As well as blueberry picking, we also hold a quarterly farmer's market 'Itano Sato Yama Marche' and host farm experience days and harvest days. Please see our Instagram and SNS for up-to-date event information.

Come and pick-your-own blueberries.
We offer pick-your-own blueberries every summer from the first Saturday in July to mid-August. This is a fun summer activity that the whole family can enjoy. The sunlight of Tokushima ensures that the fruit have the most delicious flavour. As we use no pesticides, they are safe to eat straight off the bush. Furthermore because of their antioxidant properties and high fiber content, blueberries have been accredited with a multitude of health benefits.
